Why we started Autyra

Our team founded Autyra after spending more than ten years working with automation tools and repeatedly hitting the same walls: tools that are difficult to set up, lack the right integrations, lock you into restrictive templates, or need a developer on standby just to keep them running.

Our Head of Development got frustrated enough to start building a side project: exploring what automation could look like if anyone could bring their own integrations, use intuitive drag-and-drop tools as a beginner, or dive into full scripting as a developer. Real flexibility without compromise.

As the project evolved, we found ourselves surrounded by fellow problem-solvers with diverse skill sets, people who genuinely understood business challenges, not just technology. That’s when we realised we had something bigger: the foundation for Autyra.

Why we built our own platform

We could have resold Zapier templates like most automation agencies. We chose not to, because templates fail in exactly the places our clients need help most: the messy, specific, high-stakes workflows inside hospitals, aged care providers and multi-site health networks.

Owning the platform means we’re never limited to what an off-the-shelf tool happens to support. If your workflow needs a custom integration with a patient administration system, a decades-old on-premise database, or a portal that only speaks PDF, we can build it. And because we run our own operations on the same platform, we find the rough edges before our clients do.

Based in Brisbane, working Australia-wide

We work from Brisbane, Queensland, and deliver engagements across Australia: on site across South East Queensland and remotely everywhere else, with structured on-site visits where they add value. Most of our work is with Australian healthcare organisations; we also serve automotive dealerships and professional services firms.
